I recently received the Uncharted Supply Triage Kit for review. A few things I noticed right away is the small size, light weight, and that it was packaged in what appears to be a water proof sack. Upon opening the kit via the waterproof Velcro closure similar to dry bags I found a selection of first aid and survival items that would be perfect for a day hike or trip on the river.
Triage Kit Video review:
Contents include the following:
- An assortment of band aids, adhesive bandages, and wound closure strips
- Two packets of aspirin
- Four packs of jelly lube
- Space blanket
- Ten storm matches and striker
- Duct tape
- A small roll of wire
- Three safety pins
- Four zip ties
- The pouch is made from surplus military parachute material internally/externally coated to be abrasion resistant.
- Weight: under 150 grams
- Size: 7.5” X 3.25” X 1.5”
- MSRP: $39.00
I like this triage kit and think it would be ideal for hiking, canoeing, or white water rafting. Its small size and light weight make it ideal for putting it in pocket and forgetting about it until you need it.
