I’ve owned an SOE Zippered Knife Pouch for some years now. I had recently purchased a new pouch with a different pattern recently and have found that it makes for a great minimalist EDC pouch. I use it in my office to hold a spare knife, watch, flashlight and pen.
If you travel quite a bit, the SOE Zippered Knife Pouch makes a great EDC pouch to keep on your nightstand with essentials. Along with your EDC, you can throw in some emergency cash, ID, and credit cards, giving you a perfect grab and go pouch with all your essentials.
Originally designed to hold pocket knives, this pouch can be used for many other purposes if you think outside the box a bit. I’ve seen some use it as a dedicated cash pouch since it’s able to hold $4,000 in two banded stacks of $20 bills. I’ve used my personal pouch in the past to carry all my electronic cords and adapters when on the road or commuting to work. I own several of these zippered knife pouches in different colors/patterns. The one in the following photos is Typhon with red thread.
Closed it’s 8″ x 4″ with two (2) internal slots for your expensive folders. One slot on each internal side. Four 3 x 5 loop velcro points to attach your favorite patches (two inside and two outside).
