The Waterproof Outdoor Sling Bag, SLB01, is a 2-in-1 proof bag ideal for aquatics and outdoor activities. It is ultracompact and lightweight. With the capacity of 1 L, this waterproof bag is the perfect size for storing smart phones, earbuds, keys, maps, and really anything else you may not want to get wet during your adventures. The low profile design is also excellent for under-the-jacket carry of passports and travel dockets.
SLB01 Video Overview:
There are two compartments connected by snaps. The front compartment is a waterproof pouch with a touchscreen–friendly design and a clear window perfect for taking photographs. I made great use of this pouch during a recent family trip to the Ocoee River in Chattanooga Tennessee. The pouch was easy to remove and reconnect to the main compartment. I had no issue navigating my iPhone through the touchscreen window. I saw no difference in the quality of the photographs taken while the iPhone was in the pouch. This bag is a great option for white-water river adventures, kayaking, hiking and camping.
The waterproofing elements of the bag are robust. I went into the river with the bag and had zero water intrusion in either compartment. The main compartment is built from 500D PVC fabric designed with a triple seal system to provide excellent waterproofing. It boasts an impressive IPX 8 rating for continuous immersion at 1 meter. The back of the main compartment also has a water-resistant zipper. The zipper placement has a security pouch, making it difficult for pickpockets.

Final Thoughts:
My only criticism is the adjustable shoulder strap on the SLB01. It was easy to adjust but felt like it needed to be a little more robust. If I were going to do anything more active where there would be tugging on the bag at all, I may consider replacing the strap that comes with the bag with 550 cord or similar.
