The Winter Ferrosi Jacket is a great lightweight option for hiking and urban commuting during the colder winter months.
This jacket also packs down relatively well into my backpack if I need to shed my outer layer.
Other than the typical more common features such as being water-resistant and wind-resistant, there are two specific features that stand out to me and enable this jacket to outperform many others on the market.
Thermo-Regulating ActiveTemp Treatment
The Winter Ferrosi Jacket uses a Thermo-Regulating ActiveTemp treatment (VerticalX) to aid in core temperature regulation.
The ActiveTemp technology helps shed excess heat when you’re moving and sweating by allowing increased breathability. When you stop moving or are cold, ActiveTemp then changes its structure to aid in warmth retention.
Movement-Mirroring Stretch
Movement-Mirroring Stretch allows the jacket to move with you and not bind up on your arms or torso as you move through your outdoor adventure or commute through a large metropolitan city.
An essential part of hiking and commuting is being comfortable as you traverse the landscape. This Movement-Mirroring Stretch feature does just that.
Because it stretches and moves with your body movements, you’re guaranteed comfort throughout.

Updated styling and a comfy brushed tricot lining make this jacket just as suited for cold weather cragging as it is for chilly winter commutes through town.
