How To Mount a Sling on an AR-15 The Old School Way

If your rifle doesn’t have sling swivels or QD points, don’t worry—you’re not out of options.

In this video, the Reid Henricks of Valor Ridge walks through a simple, old-school method of attaching a two-point sling using nothing more than 550 cord.

It’s quiet, durable, and keeps your sling exactly where it needs to be, without interfering with your light or hand placement.

Whether you’re running a stripped-down rifle or prefer low-profile solutions, this DIY paracord trick gets the job done. Fast, field-proven, and requiring no extra hardware.
