Front Runner Outfitters Launches NEW SlimSport Roof Rack

Front Runner Outfitters Launches NEW SlimSport Roof Rack

Front Runner Outfitters (Front Runner), the South African-based adventure travel gear company known for dependable, innovative, and thoughtfully designed Overlanding and camping equipment, announces the launch of the Slimsport Roof Rack system. The new roof rack system provides an additional entry point in the Overlanding market beginning with compatibility for five popular vehicle models.

Following in the footsteps of the time-tested Slimline II Roof Rack system, the Slimsport Roof Rack (MSRP $625-$919) is a new roof rack option designed for activity-focused drivers that do not require an expedition-grade build. Whether the adventure ahead calls for hauling sporting equipment for the trail, water, or mountain, the Slimsport Roof Rack transitions seamlessly from dusty backroads to city streets. With Front Runner being a trusted outfitting source for Overlanding equipment for decades, the Slimsport Roof Rack instills the same trusted performance Front Runner is known for, at a price point that doesn’t sacrifice quality.

By integrating the mounting feet into the side rails, creating a lower profile cross-slat, and including a rubber-trimmed wind fairing, the rack sports a sleek and unobtrusive aesthetic that translates to minimal drag and noise. To maintain streamlined integration, Front Runner has made new accessories available such as the 40-inch Lightbar Wind Fairing (MSRP $75-$143) and the Slimsport Side Mount Accessory Bracket (MSRP $31), allowing users to outfit their vehicle to suit any type of adventurous lifestyle. Furthering the possibility to customize, the Slimsport Roof Rack shares the same t-slot channels found on the slats of the Slimline II rack system, allowing integration of the majority of Front Runner’s top-mounted rack accessories.

The latest rack system from Front Runner is compatible with the Toyota Tacoma (2005-current) and 4Runner (2010-current), as well as the Ford Ranger (2012-current), F-150 Super Crew and Raptor (2018-2020) and soon to follow Subaru XV Crosstrek (2017-current). Front Runner plans to continue growing this platform to include other compatible vehicles in future launches.

The Front Runner Slimsport Roof Rack is available for consumers to purchase now, directly from www.frontrunneroutfitters.com or through a local Front Runner official dealer.

Front Runner is currently seeking active members of the media across various interest channels who drive a compatible vehicle and are interested in using the new Slimsport Roof Rack on their next vehicle-based adventure. Interested testers with a compatible vehicle should direct inquiries to Associate Account Manager Ryan Silven at ryan.silven@rygr.us.
