Cold Steel is proud to introduce the all-new ENGAGE EDC knives. The Engage series of folders are exceptional in that they represent the introduction of Cold Steel’s® innovative, patent-pending Atlas™ Lock; a locking mechanism that provides an astonishing level of strength and safety in a folding knife.
The blades feature line grain, two-tone satin polished finishes, and a shallow indent on the spine that makes for a comfortable place for your thumb or index finger when using the knives for precision work. The handles are ergonomically contoured for a secure grip and include large integral lanyard holes. The pocket clips are reversible for left or right-handed use.
Within the Engage series, two models come standard with S35VN clip point (3″ or 3.5″) blades—high-grade steel known for its superior toughness and edge retention. These models also come with a polished satin finish paired with black GFN handles.
Two additional models include a 3-inch clip point AUS10A steel blade. This is higher-end steel that provides a very sharp cutting edge, corrosion resistance, and is easy to sharpen. These are equipped with a subtle black PVD stonewash finish that compliments a grey G10 handle or a black GFN handle.
Five models that feature reliable and easy-to-sharpen 4116SS steel (2.5″ or 3″) are also part of the Engage Series and provide users with affordable everyday carry choices. Two blade styles are available—tanto or clip point—in a stonewash satin finish or PVD black coating. All of the Engage knives are offered in a range of colors to appeal to each consumer’s wants and needs.
